TIDI characterizes shops by ID and the address of the shop. The shop address will appear on the end-client’s receipt, so that they understand where exactly the transaction happened, and the ID will ensure consistency across transactions.
How the shop data gets linked:
As an example, let’s say the shop’s ID is «RE561A» and the address is «Great Street, 45». The first transaction with this shop address that you send to us will first register this shop on your client’s TIDI account if not registered yet, and then link the transaction to it. Now, any future operation done at this shop will be linked to it directly.
Your clients have full shop data coherence across systems if you provide the same shop ID and address as on your software, as this is anyway where the shop data is already registered.
