If you are trying to make an action on behalf of third-parties, like providing some commercial data of your clients, you may use a special type of certificate: the third-party certificate. To this end, the status of the relation between you and them will have to be “Accepted”, meaning that both parties have approved that you act on their behalf. Important: if the relation is not showing as “Accepted”, any request on behalf of your client will get blocked.
How do you create and retrieve this certificate? You will need to provide the relation_key parameter. You may also use the shared_provider_id parameter, but this will require an extra step. It is important that either parameter identifies the relevant client of yours in the piece of software where the call to TIDI’s API is running for you to link the client properly.
